The Leisure Travel Vans Unity Is A Rolling Apartment Of A Camper Van

I think people’s perspectives are changing on how much space and stuff they really need. There’s a lot of freedom in traveling smaller and lighter – this is feedback we hear again and again from our customers”. And for a hot shower after a long drive, the Unity FX features an optional German-built, Truma AquaGo Comfort Plus on-demand 60K BTU hot-water system, the most powerful water heater available on the market. Better yet, the clever three-stop bathroom door – gives you more floor space where you need it and less where you don’t.

September of 2012, Leisure Travel Van introduced the first Mercedes Sprinter van camper with a slide out and full bath; the Free Spirit SS. The Wonder RTB yields plentiful exterior storage capacity, totaling 67 cubic feet. The rear compartment extends the width of the coach and has large access hatches on both sides of the vehicle. A glide-out tray on the curb side provides ease of access to gear stowed in the center of the coach. This compartment also contains the toggle switch for the Carefree electric awning, which measures 11 feet wide and extends out 7 feet.

A flip-down galley counter extension adds extra prep space as needed. Across the center aisle on the curbside of the Wonder RTB is a Dometic RMD10 6.7-cubic-foot, 3-way refrigerator. The upper freezer door and the lower refrigerator door both open to the left and to the right for added convenience. The aforementioned 1,000-watt microwave-convection oven sits above the refrigerator. A Truma AquaGo Comfort Plus on-demand system provides continuous hot water to the shower and to the galley and bathroom sinks. A 16,000-Btu propane-fueled forced-air furnace and a heat pump that also are controlled by the multiplex system provide heat for the Wonder.

And with white Corian® countertops, indirect LED lighting and a choice of three solid-wood cabinet options, quality European style and modern luxury combine to meet you on the road ahead. A Transit camper van would no doubt be limited to a slim wet cell, but the extra floor space of the Type C motorhome makes possible a dual-compartment dry bath. The driver-side toilet room behind the kitchen houses both the toilet and sink, the passenger-side shower room left entirely to showering. This allows the van to sleep and seat up to two people while still including 34 cubic feet of exterior storage. The sophisticated European design of the Wonder Rear Lounge interior truly sets this RV apart. High-end materials such as Ultraleather®, optional FENIX NTM®, Corian®, and Schattdecor cabinetry finishes bring beauty, comfort, and quality in equal measure.

The only exception is the 15,000-Btu, low-profile, direct-ducted roof air conditioner. To power the roof A/C, either 30-amp shore power is needed or the optional Cummins Onan 4-kw gasoline-powered auxiliary generator needs to be operating. The frameless, black-tinted, awning-style windows can be opened for ventilation even if it is raining cats and dogs outside. Other notable safety and security features include an anti-theft system with engine immobilizer, a post-crash alert system, tire pressure monitoring system, and side wind stabilization.

In 2008, Triple E acquired Leisure Travel Vans, giving Triple E a quality Class B and C lineup with an established presence in the United States. This acquisition allowed Triple E to expand its dealer network and target the United States market. Product diversification has played a major role in Triple E’s growth and success. In 1980, Lode King Industries was established to produce commercial highway trailers for the transportation industry.
